My philosophy on what coaching is not and is

I want to take a moment to tell you what this process is not and is.
Coaching is not about endlessly digging up and reliving problems – and pain – and discussing them. It is not about working more, trying harder, or making your already busy life busier.
It is about discussing what you really want and how you want to feel. We explore your needs and flesh them out until it’s a complete picture of what you want to be, do, and have in your life that will bring you real Happiness.
It’s about upgrading your being and feelings, so doing so feels much easier.
It is about learning how to quiet the negative chatter in your head that makes you worry you’ll make a mistake or that you’re not good enough, smart enough, educated enough, or whatever enough. Or that you’ll never have the career or relationship you want.
It’s about learning to silence the voice that says you’re better off just forgetting about what you want and get used to living without it.
It is about continuing to grow, achieve, and make changes in your life, without letting something keep yanking you back to your unhappy life like a bungee cord.
My ultimate desire for you
I want you to feel peace and well-being, and soar past all your previous limited beliefs, so you start living exactly the life you want.
It really can happen. Many people are doing that today, and you can get started on your path, too.
A year from now you’ll be so glad you did this.
Am I the best choice for you?
The main reason that I am the best choice to help you is that I’ve lived with the same problems. This is what I’ve lived, and so this is what I know best.
My goal for my life is the same as my goal for your life. I want you to enjoy being yourself, doing what matters most to you, and being proud of who you are. Of course, I enjoy seeing you have a light, smiling, peaceful Happiness.
Below, I detail my basic approach.
What happens during each session?
Each session is 55 minutes long, and we’ll meet weekly. We’ll do our sessions by Facebook Messenger or Skype (don’t worry if you haven’t used these yet; it’s very easy to set up) – or by phone if you prefer.
So, the great news is that each session takes 55 minutes out of your day, no driving, sitting in traffic, dealing with bad weather delays, or parking. You can do your session from anywhere you happen to be that day.
We start each session by discussing where you are and how you’re feeling. Then we check on the progress you’ve made with the action steps you chose for the week.
Please don’t worry about homework. You’ll be deciding what you want to focus on doing each week. I’ll simply make suggestions, if needed, but you are the one who chooses your course.
Then, we’ll discuss whatever goal, dream, or concern that comes up for you; and I’ll teach you new ways to handle them.
The goal is to keep you making progress toward having all you really want and becoming Happier along the way.
What does it feel like to be coached?
Sometimes, it feels exciting when you’re learning new information and ideas you can’t wait to try out, because they sound so wonderful.
When we discuss a past experience that’s created a story in your mind that’s been holding you back, it may feel difficult or even painful; but that leads to learning strategies to let that old stuff go for good, so you can gain new strength in the present.
Sometimes we’ll laugh – we’ll definitely laugh, – because I love to laugh, make jokes, and try to see life from a lighthearted, anything’s-possible place.
Sometimes, tears may be shed, sad and happy tears, as you create and start living your plan to have the life you’ve dreamed of (or may have been afraid to even dream about).
What I know for sure is that each person is different, and each session goes where YOU need it to go. I have no one-size-fits-all program. What I do have is 20 years of experience and many strategies to help you get beyond where you are today.
And, of course, the goal of the whole process is to give you a life that makes you feel Happier. Stop right now and imagine for one minute what changes you want in your life to make you Happier. That’s what we’ll be taking on together!
What does it cost?
Our sessions will be 55 minutes long and cost $120. Payment is due at the beginning of each session.
You can save money by choosing a 12-session package for only $1,190, a $250 savings. I recommend this package, because it gives us time to create a real change for you. You’ll have time to learn and incorporate what I teach you, and we’ll have time to handle the obstacles that show up for you.
For the money-saving offer, the full amount is due at the beginning of the first session.
How long will it take to see results?
It is different for each person, because our hopes and dreams are all different.
I usually work with my clients weekly, so we can keep your momentum growing and new results continuing to show up.
Of course, the best determiner of your results is you. The more open to learning and trying what I’ll teach you, the quicker your life will feel lighter and Happier.
Here’s what I can and cannot do for you.
Please know that I can’t promise that working with me will bring you to a 10-level of Happy every day. That’s not how life works. Each day can bring up sadness or fear, anger, losing your job, a serious sickness for yourself or a loved one, getting fired, having a major financial setback, or an accident.
Very difficult things happen in everyone’s life.
My goal is to teach you techniques and then work with you to deal with life’s troubles peacefully and not hold onto the pain, fear, and hurt.
This is a game changer, because so many people spend their life replaying the bad times from their past, which brings that old hurt or fear into the present.
Handling difficult emotions as they arise, keeps you clear and peaceful – and lets you be Happy.
Happiness Coaching is about coming to a clear understanding about what YOU want to be different in your life and why it’s important to you. My job is to walk alongside you and guide you through it.

What is the value of not feeling stuck, angry, scared, unhappy, helpless, or sad all the time?
