What has been happening your whole life that makes it hard to be Happier?
Imagine that at birth you’re given a backpack to wear. As you’ve walked through life each hurt, failure, rejection, and embarrassment has created a rock, and that rock gets put into your backpack. Bigger rocks for bigger difficulties or painful experiences.
And every year your backpack has gotten heavier and heavier. So heavy, in fact, that the idea of going after new possibilities and goals can feel too hard.
How can you do more when just getting through the week is already exhausting? So, you just keep doing what you’re doing… ‘cuz that’s just how life is.
And worse, these pains, fears, and failures have created negative beliefs about yourself.
These dark thoughts play over and over and over in your head until you believe you will never get what you want, because you’re not good enough and don’t have what it takes to do all you want to do.
Now let’s talk about what you really
want
Imagine that you miraculously come across Aladdin’s Magical Lamp. You pick it up and rub it. What do you wish for? Anything you want!
Think about the three things you most want – a new home, a wonderful significant other or better relationship with the one you have, a beautiful car, a job you actually enjoy, more money, a college degree, or to learn a new skill, great vacations, more fun…
Now ask yourself, “Why do I want these things?” How would having them make you feel? Please take a moment and really feel those feelings.
I believe that no matter what answers you gave… the ACTUAL reason you want them is because you believe they’ll make you feel Happier. It’s always the same reason – to feel good, have more fun, feel connected, feel pride, feel more love… which all sums up to feeling Happier!
Take a moment now to remember the Happiest times in your life. That’s the feeling you really desire, isn’t it?

So we want to be Happier, but do we have to wait until we’ve found a Magic Lamp or accomplished big goals to have it? Nope!!!
Happiness is the Goal of all the other Goals, so why not start focusing on your Happiness level today? I use a 3-step approach:
1. As your Happiness Coach, first I’ll teach you a number of techniques to start raising your happiness level TODAY. These are simple techniques that are easy to learn and provide quick results. I’m not saying you’ll be 100% Happy after doing these techniques, but you will feel better quickly, a lot better, when you use them.
2. Then we’ll start releasing all yuk from your past that has stopped you from believing you can have and do and be anything you want. Imagine being able to lessen the pain and embarrassment of past hurts, personal tragedies, and failures. It won’t happen all at once, but you’ll quickly feel the pain starting to lessen like it’s melting off you. It feels like no longer having to fight to paddle upstream to get what you want. And that feels terrific.
3. And then we get moving on making your desires a reality. We do this by making concrete plans to get you there. Of course, we all know it’s easy to make plans, but it can often be just as easy not to follow through. As your Coach, I’ll help you overcome whatever internal or external barrier comes between you and the life you really want.
After increasing your daily Happiness and releasing the pain from your past, you’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to start taking the actions that will make your dreams come true. This may sound like an exaggeration, but I know from personal experience that the first two steps are the Game Changers of this program.
